What is on the facial menu

Facial waxing at the lounge covers lip, chin, and full face, plus female brow shaping, a men’s maintenance brow, and the men’s facial grooming package. The package includes beard line, neck, and the small areas a razor leaves patchy. Brows are shaped, not stripped to a trend you did not ask for.

The wax is custom-formulated to remove hair while it soothes, exfoliates, and softens the skin. On a face, that matters more than on a shin. Skin here is thinner, and people are more likely to be using a retinoid an inch away from the spot being waxed.

Tell us what is on your skin

Pause retinoids, acids, and scrubs on the area for several days if you can. Say if you have used Accutane, had a peel, or burned in the sun this week. A facial wax the morning of an event is a gamble. Book a few days ahead so any pink has time to leave. Hair needs to be long enough to grip, about a quarter inch. If you have been shaving the upper lip every morning, let it grow before you come.

Men are not an exception on this menu. The grooming package and the maintenance brow exist because they get booked. Men’s body waxing is a separate page if the request is chest, back, or full body rather than the face.

After you leave

Skin can be pink for an hour or a day. Do not put a new acid, a retinol, or a heavy fragrance on it that night. Skip the gym steam room. If a bump shows up in the next week, leave it alone and call before you pick. Ingrowns get worse when they are treated like a project.
